Today, JList added set/getSourceDataDragName and add/removeSourceDataAcceptName method to allow the function the title said easily.

setAutoDragAndDropType(DragManager.TYPE_MOVE) or setAutoDragAndDropType(DragManager.TYPE_COPY)

Based on Bill’s implementation(Thanks Bill for the great done), i start to design the DnD support, basic functions are finished now. (source is on svn)
